Can we meet you?

Yes please, I’m Darling Gee a.k.a king of swagg. (Eze ndi swagg) musician, song writer & a performer.

When did you discover you could do music?

Since I was very little.

Who inspired you to make music?

No one, it’s a gift from above.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Every song I do has a story behind it, from things that happen around me to things that happen around the world

What is your creative process like?

Once a song inspiration comes into my head, I immediately start writing the lyrics, look for a beat that will be good for the song. It’s not easy to make music but I was born to do this.

What do you think about collaborations?

It’s good because it’s a way of supporting each other, sharing ideas & through collaboration we exchange culture,lifestyle & music circulates globally.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

They should believe in themselves & let no one tell them that they cant do anything because impossible is nothing.

What are you currently improving on to make your stay in the industry firm?

Trying to be versatile in my songs, doing different genres & being current in the industry.

Do you sing in the shower?

Who doesn’t lol.

Which artiste could you listen to nonstop?

Fela, Tupac, Bob Marley & Chief Osita Osadebe.

What do you do right now asides music?

I work.

Where have you performed?

Nigeria, Holland, Spain, Switzerland, France & many cities in the UK.

Do you have any upcoming shows?

Most of my shows are on hold due to the pandemic.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

Positively because it helps to spread music fast globally.

What is your favourite song to perform?

I don’t really have a favourite song but I always follow the demand of my fans.

Which famous musicians do you admire?

I admire lots of them, especially those that have stories in their songs.

What other talent do you think you have?

Football & dancing.
